CHERYL W. LAVETTE
Partner, Managing Regional Director
Ms. Lavette joined Globalt in 2008, oversees business development sales and relationship management for the adviser’s institutional, retail and high-net-worth clients and is a member of the Enterprise Committee.
Ms. Lavette earned a BA in Economics from Agnes Scott College and has 25+ years of investment experience. She furthered her studies at the Institute de Welte in Oaxaca, Mexico, where she pursued Spanish, Economics and Finance with the Bolsa Stock Exchange. Previously, she provided comprehensive investment services to internal and external financial professionals at SunTrust Investment Services. Before joining Globalt, Ms. Lavette served as Vice President at FinTech Securities, where she helped develop the firm's sales and relationship management teams.
Since 2001, Ms. Lavette has held various positions on the Atlanta Association of Women in Securities Executive Board, serving as President in 2003 and 2005. Additionally, she was a Director on the Georgia Securities Association Board from 2005-2009.
Cheryl's leadership extends beyond the finance industry. She has served as State Director, Executive Committee Member, subject matter expert panelist and keynote speaker in state and national organizations within the political and self-defense arenas and has volunteered across multiple United States military organizations. Leveraging her multifaceted experience and unwavering dedication, Cheryl has cultivated meaningful relationships and empowered leaders for over two decades. Her commitment to maximizing impact has been a cornerstone of her professional journey.
