MARC O. SYDNOR

Marc Sydnor joined Globalt in 2021 and performs business development for the adviser's institutional, retail and high-net-worth investment strategies.
Mr. Sydnor earned a BA in Business Economics from The University of Delaware and has over 30 years of investment experience. Early in his career, Mr. Sydnor obtained a Top-Secret Security Clearance, from the Department of Defense. Previously, he was a senior member of the Investment Policy Committee, served as the lead Economist on the Fixed Income and Equity strategies, and served as the Portfolio Manager for the MDL Growth strategy at MDL Capital Management. While at MDL Capital Management, he was also responsible for creating and maintaining the firm's first quantitative econometric model, analyzing over 150 economic indicators daily. Prior to joining Globalt, Mr. Sydnor served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Client Service for Herndon Capital Management, where he contributed to the development of the firm’s strategic marketing plan, resulting in significant growth in assets under management and assets under advisement in both institutional and retail markets.
At the University of Delaware, Marc was recognized for his leadership and twice voted as captain of the football team by teammates. In his free time, Marc enjoys studying and practicing creative approaches to Southern Barbecue passed down by his father. Marc's background lends him an air of intrigue, particularly regarding his current top-secret project: an original barbecue rub recipe.
