Marc Sydnor joined GLOBALT in 2021 and develops business sales for the adviser's institutional, retail and high-net-worth investment strategies.
Mr. Sydnor earned a BA in Business Economics from The University of Delaware and has over 30 years of investment experience. Early in his career, Mr. Sydnor obtained the highest possible security clearance, Top Secret, from the Department of Defense. Previously, he worked as Senior Economist & Equity Portfolio Manager for MDL Capital Management, where he was responsible for creating and maintaining the firm's first quantitative econometric model, analyzing over 150 economic indicators daily. Prior to joining Globalt, Mr. Sydnor served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Client Service for Herndon Capital Management, where he contributed to the development of the firm’s strategic marketing plan, resulting in significant growth in assets under management in both institutional and retail markets.
At the University of Delaware, Marc was recognized for his leadership and twice voted as captain of the football team by teammates. In his free time, Marc enjoys studying and practicing creative approaches to Southern Barbecue passed down by his father. Marc's background lends him an air of intrigue, particularly regarding his current top-secret project: an original barbecue rub recipe.
