Q. NICHOL HARPS
Partner, Senior Executive Assistant
Ms. Harps joined Globalt in 2006 and provides human resources, accounting organizational support for all departments. She was the liaison between Synovus Financial Corp and GLOBALT for 20+ years until Globalt’s return to independence in October 2023. She has spearheaded 20+ of the adviser’s outreach programs and was awarded the Synovus Here Matters Service Award in January 2023.
Ms. Harps earned a BA in Mass Media Arts/Journalism from Clark Atlanta University in 2003. Before joining Globalt, she was a fellow at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies and Public Relations Intern at Maizie Hale PR. Ms. Harps has over 20 years of experience in human relations including her position as a precinct manager for the Georgia Voter Registration & Elections and a host at Mercedes Benz Stadium, the home of her favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons.
A mental health advocate, Nichol was a keynote speaker at the 6th Annual Evnoia Global Personal & Executive Assistant Summit, where she presented on Negative Emotions & Thoughts that Hold Us Back. She actively supports several charities, including the Miracle League of South Fulton, 3D Girls, Beloved Atlanta and Junior Achievement and is a member of Ellevate Atlanta.
Nichol enjoys combining biking, running and thrifting with travel. During the pandemic, she began studying yoga and periodically leads mini classes at Globalt, sharing wellness techniques with her colleagues. She is an Atlanta native and has one dependent, a Maine Coon named Prada.
