Mr. Martin joined Globalt in 2014. He is a member of the team managing all Globalt strategies and leads the management of the firm’s Large Cap Core and ESG equity strategies as well as the innovatETF Strategies® – ESG Growth. Mr. Martin is a member of the Enterprise Committee and a voting member of the Investment Policy Committee.
Mr. Martin contributes to Globalt’s Spotlight Commentaries and writes for WealthManagement.com. He is interviewed periodically by the financial press and appears from time to time in The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, Yahoo! Finance TV, Schwab TV, CNBC, and Reuters.
Mr. Martin earned an AB in Economics from Duke University. Before Globalt, Mr. Martin was a Family Investment Officer at GenSpring Family Offices, overseeing over $600 million in AUM. He also served as Chief Investment Officer for Mirant Corporation’s hedge fund unit and was a Global Partner at INVESCO Capital Management, managing a Core Equity strategy for large institutional investors. Mr. Martin is a CFA® Charterholder and is active in the CFA Institute, CFA Society Atlanta and is a member of the Holy Innocents Episcopal School Investment Committee. In the past, he has volunteered with the USAID on capital markets education projects in various countries.
