Mr. Roach joined Globalt in 1991, serves as the adviser’s CEO and President, is a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Policy Committee and a member of the Enterprise Committee.
His responsibilities include the day-to-day operation of the adviser as well as client service/marketing. He is a member of the Investment Policy Committee.
Mr. Roach earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and has nearly 40 years of investment experience. At Purdue, he earned academic excellence awards from Inland Steel, Dow Chemical, and Procter and Gamble. He earned an MBA in Finance & Marketing from Columbia University Graduate School where he was awarded the Johnson & Johnson Leadership Fellowship.
Previously, Mr. Roach completed Goldman Sachs' extensive training program and provided financial advice on a broad range of fixed income securities to public funds, insurance companies and investment managers. Before joining Globalt, Mr. Roach was a Vice President of Marketing and Client Services for Western Asset Management and before that was a Vice President of Institutional Fixed Income Services for Security Pacific Merchant Bank.
Bill is a member of the Grady Hospital Ambassador program and the board of the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He spent 10 years on the Advisory Board of the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and was involved with Girls’ Inc. of Greater Atlanta for over 10 years. He is a member of the 1998 class of Leadership Atlanta.
Bill enjoys traveling to new destinations with his family and frequently takes the opportunity to bring along his golf clubs. Affectionately, his family refers to his golf bag as his third and favorite child—a claim he vehemently denies.
